Neal graduated with First Class Honours in Graphic Design in 1994. Starting out in London he cut his teeth before crossing the Atlantic. Arriving in Toronto in early 1999 he quickly established his quirky, concept driven style. With strong, clean ideas, an ability to work to the tightest of deadlines and a simple love of image-making he was soon in high demand.
Taking on the role of designer, art director and illustrator Neal has been published worldwide, appearing in such titles as The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, The Globe and Mail, New Internationalist, GQ, Adbusters, Fast Company, Wired and Utne Reader amongst many others.
Back in the UK and exploring the boundaries between traditional print media, painting and digital drawing, Neal lectures part time in Graphic Design and Illustration and continues to expand both portfolio and client list.
A member of the Association of Illustrators Neal’s work was recently recognised with four images selected for the Images 36 annual and was asked to exhibit in the accompanying exhibition at Somerset House, London.
